Community Suggestions

I think it would be a good idea to send out birthday wishes on members birthdays, I believe this can be done automatically, at least it can on another forum I’m involved with. It would be a nice gesture for active members but also a reminder to lapsed members that we are still around.

Also on another forum you get a banner appear just to you on your birthday is this possible? Something like “ It’s your birthday everyone at PoN wishes you a lovely day” this would emphasise the community feel of the site.

i think it would be nice if we could have something that shows to new members after they join, that sort of hangs around until they have settled in. not as a way to bother people but to ease them into the site and show them what is out there in terms of tips, and how to update their profiles.
